Apparently I don't have the actual plague. I do have bronchitis and sinusitis (which I'm pretty sure translates to lots-of-snot-in-many-places-itus). So I haven't let the house (or my room, or my bed) to take pictures of anything.

I'll give Watchmen this: blue penises aside, it had singularly the best movie soundtrack I have heard in a very, VERY long time.

I have no fitting photo for this post, seeing as I don't often take pictures of blue penises, so here are yet more daffodils. This font, however, is the exact shade of blue. Go me.

I had this dream last night.

I think the smell of daffodils makes my subconscious think that its time for writing term papers. It's some sort of evolutionary survival technique.

I get so very. very mad when something I thought was awesome and unique turns out not to be. Like my new favorite song (see below). I thought I found something not mainstream that I could stand to listen to (because I hate indie music!). But NO. It's apparently been on Grey's Anatomy. And we all know that means soon it'll be just another Snow Patrol disaster.

BAH!

Like you, you stupid flower! You're not a precious bud, waiting to open and explore a world of possibilities. You're just another damn daffodil that I'm going to run over with my mower.

03.11.2009 Scavenger Hunt

While we were on our hike, we found what appeared to be a crazy scavenger hunt. A clue was tied to a tree in the middle of a trail.

Of course we HAD to try and find the next clue. Look how excited Beth is!

We looked and looked, but didn't find anything until by chance we found another clue sitting on a log next the the step we were breaking on!
Unfortunately that was all we found :(

Beth And I went hiking today. I know I was making jokes earlier about the earth quickening around me, but in the 3 hours that we were outside, leaves and flower bloomed. They weren't there when we got to the park, and then they were there when we left. It was INSANE and very cool!

Last night while I was laying in bed, not sleeping (because regardless of what they say, diet caffeine free coke is FULL of caffeine!), I was thinking of all the words I love. Like quickening. How often do you hear someone use that term? It should be more often considering the amount of babies I see in Target!

The earth is quickening. Things are starting to grow, and the sky is full of awesome. And soon it'll be warm enough to kayak!

Here Beth, this is the pure denim poop. I assume it was Zero's, I think he ate the leg off of a hunter.

Well, everyone seemed pretty upset that I was going to delete my blog, so I resolve to just do a better job of putting up what I see, and nothing that... annoys me.

It was beautiful today so my mom and I took a short walk. It ended somewhat abruptly after I ate some bad peanut butter :(

I finally had a program that people actually came to! Read Across America Day is celebrated every year on Dr. Seuss' birthday. He would have been 105 today, so what better to do than have a party! We had cake, goody bags, story time and of course prizes!
